Cultural Encounters.

The Uganda safari destination of Murchison Falls National Park is surrounded by a range of diverse communities that reflect the tribes of Uganda. The Banyoro in the south, the Alur in the North West and the Acholi in the north east have got diverse cultural back grounds that can be encountered by travellers on Uganda safari tours.

The Boomu Women’s group presents community tours exploring the heritage of the Banyoro culture and their everyday life. The encounter is experiential ranging from participating in black smith to food preparation to cultivation, craft making among others. The Mubako energetic dancers also offer impressive cultural dances and sometimes they can be called to perform at the respective lodges in the park.
